CUAV SKYE 2 DroneCAN Airspeed Sensor
The CUAV SKYE 2 DroneCAN Airspeed Sensor is a high-precision airspeed sensor for UAVs, designed for seamless integration with ArduPilot and PX4. It delivers accurate airspeed, temperature, and humidity data over the DroneCAN bus. Its biggest advantage over traditional sensors is the built-in pitot-tube heating and drainage system, which ensures reliable performance even in rain, fog, or icy conditions.
CUAV SKYE 2 DroneCAN Airspeed Sensor: Robust Precision Airspeed Measurement for Any Mission
The industry’s first intelligent airspeed meter with de-icing and drainage functionalities. It integrates ARM M4 processor, pitot tube, airspeed sensor, temperature and humidity sensor, and a dual temperature compensation system. SKYE 2 features a new generation of M4C intelligent heating strategy and a drainage hole that can melt the ice and remove water to prevent data errors. The low temperature drift, high vibration resistance, and high-precision airspeed sensor allow it to operate reliably in harsh environments such as cold, fog, and rain. The new-generation linear structural design helps reduce wind resistance. It adopts the DroneCAN protocol, supports open-source platforms such as ArduPilot, and is compatible with various unmanned system models.
