The Star of the Kit – Air65 Whoop Micro Drone
When selecting the drone for the FPV EDU kit, BZB UAS specialists chose to utilize the full potential of the Air65 Whoop drone manufactured by BETAFPV. It represents the latest generation of whoop drones powered by a 300mAh battery with the innovative BT2.0 connector, which significantly reduces resistance and ensures excellent battery performance during flight. The entire platform is built from lightweight components: a durable polypropylene frame protects the miniature FPV camera and racing motors. Communication with the radio transmitter is handled via the open-source ExpressLRS RC system, known for low latency and long-range capability. Additionally, the flight controller firmware, Betaflight, is also open-source, allowing virtually unlimited configuration and customization of the drone’s functions.
