HDZero Lux Camera — Sharp Video Even in Low Light
The HDZero Lux Camera is compact, lightweight and durable, made for tiny whoops and micro drones. Its 1/2-inch CMOS sensor delivers sharp image quality and excellent low-light performance, while Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and oversampling (1080p to 720p) raise the quality of its 1280x720 video at 60fps. It is optimized for 4:3, with a large 94° vertical field of view (155° diagonal, 126° horizontal) that suits fast indoor and outdoor proximity flying, and it can also be set to 16:9 with a reduced vertical field of view (170° diagonal, 145° horizontal, 82° vertical). The camera sends HD composite video over a single wire instead of a MIPI cable, which reduces footprint and cost and increases durability, and it works with the HDZero AIO5, AIO15 and Eco VTX. It weighs 2.3g, measures 14x16x14mm, runs on 3.3-5V and draws 0.5W.

Frequently Asked Questions About the HDZero Lux Camera
The camera outputs HD composite video over a single wire instead of a MIPI cable and, according to the manufacturer, is compatible with the HDZero AIO5, AIO15 and Eco VTX. It can't be connected to HDZero video transmitters that take the camera over a MIPI cable.
The camera is optimized for 4:3 and can also be set to 16:9, with a reduced vertical field of view (170° diagonal, 145° horizontal, 82° vertical). According to the manufacturer, the HDZero AIO5 and Eco VTX can't read the camera's settings automatically, so the aspect ratio has to be set manually on both the AIO5 or Eco VTX and the camera. Solder the camera's four wires to the camera pads on the board: yellow (video) to C, white (menu control) to P, black to G (ground) and red to 5V.
