Built for the Race Line
In racing, every millisecond between the camera and your eyes decides the line you fly. HDZero's fixed-latency video link is integrated with the goggle's entire display pipeline, so the picture arrives with no jitter and no dropped frames. In the manufacturer's own measurements, the HDZero 90fps link shows its first pixel after 3.9ms and the whole image after 15ms, compared with 18ms and 27ms for DJI O4 Pro in Race mode. All figures are as declared by the manufacturer.
Analog Built Right In
No extra module is needed to fly analog. The Goggle 2 has a high-sensitivity analog receiver built in, sharing the same antennas as the HDZero receiver and designed for better handling of weak signals. A real-time 2D deinterlacer sharpens the analog picture without adding any delay, and a side-mounted module bay still accepts most of today's analog modules.
One Goggle for Every Signal
HDZero digital, analog and HDMI video all run through one headset. The HDMI input takes the video from another digital system's receiver, the 3.5mm AV input connects an analog ground station, and an HDMI output is there as well. A 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack and a built-in microphone for the DVR complete the connections.
ELRS Backpack and WiFi Mirroring
The built-in ELRS backpack connects the goggle with your ExpressLRS radio, so you can set the channel, use wireless head tracking and start or stop DVR recording from a switch on your transmitter. The integrated 2.4GHz WiFi module mirrors your live FPV feed to a phone or PC for live streaming, with no extra hardware needed.
Open Source, Ready for Updates
The Goggle 2 runs Linux, and all of its user-interface code is open source, with the software and CAD design files published on GitHub. You can customise the goggle to your own preferences, and HDZero keeps publishing new firmware versions, so your goggle can be brought up to date long after you unbox it.
