RadioMaster GX12 Dual-Band Gemini-X Radio Controller ELRS brings dual-band ExpressLRS into a compact transmitter built for both everyday flying and more demanding RC configurations. Gemini-X can use 2.4GHz and Sub-G 900MHz transmission, while folding dual-band antennas simplify transport. GX01 digital Hall gimbals, EdgeTX, a high-contrast OLED display, 512MB internal flash and a Nano external module interface make the GX12 easy to adapt to different models and control setups.
Dual-Band Antennas That Fold Away for Transport
The integrated antennas support both 2.4GHz and Sub-G 900MHz operation and fold down when the radio is packed away. This keeps the GX12 more compact in a backpack or transport case and removes the need to repeatedly unscrew the standard antennas before travelling to the flying site.


Precise Control Starts at the Gimbals
GX01 gimbals use CNC-machined aluminium construction, 3D digital Hall sensors, 1000Hz operation and EdgeTX Sync. The manufacturer graphic also specifies 12-bit digital resolution and quad ball bearings. Together, these features are designed to provide smooth stick movement, accurate input and a direct control feel whether the GX12 is used for FPV, fixed-wing models or other RC platforms.
Folding Sticks Make a Real Difference in the Backpack
The gimbal sticks fold into the radio instead of remaining fully exposed during transport. It is a small mechanical detail that becomes useful every time the transmitter is packed into a field bag or backpack — the controller occupies less space and the sticks are less vulnerable to accidental impact.


More Configuration Built Directly Into the Radio
A high-contrast OLED display, 512MB of integrated flash memory, a Nano module interface, DIY SMA ports and modular switch panels give the GX12 plenty of room for customization without turning the radio into a collection of external accessories. Programmable controls with RGB indication also make it easier to build a layout around the functions actually used on a particular model.
One USB-C Port for the Jobs You Use Every Day
The USB-C interface handles charging, data communication, firmware-related connectivity and simulator use. That means the same physical connection can be used when charging the radio at the bench, connecting it to a computer or practising with an RC simulator.

Designed for More Than Perfect Workshop Conditions
A hydrophobic PCB coating, more rigid plastics and an active cooling system are used to improve the radio's ability to cope with demanding operating conditions. The cooling system is particularly relevant when using the integrated dual 1W RF transmitters, while the PCB coating and housing construction provide additional protection against challenging field environments.
Smart 2S Balance Charging Inside the Radio
GX12 supports smart 2S balance charging and can operate from two 18650 Li-Ion cells, a suitable 7.4V 2-cell battery or the RadioMaster 2S 5000mAh 21700 battery pack specified by the manufacturer. The batteries are not included, so the power source must be selected separately.
Put the Switches Where They Make Sense to You
The GX12 uses removable switch panels and is supplied with two replacement panels and six switch-delete plugs. Instead of forcing every pilot to use exactly the same physical control layout, the radio lets unused controls be removed or repositioned to better suit FPV, fixed-wing, UAV or other model configurations.
