RadioMaster TX16S MK3 Radio Controller ELRS Charcoal builds on the proven TX16S platform with improved performance, smooth operation, and refined ergonomics. A 5-inch touchscreen, V6 Hall gimbals, dual-band ExpressLRS with two LR1121 transceivers, and modular shoulder switch panels create a versatile control platform for both straightforward and highly advanced model configurations.
More power for advanced setups
The STM32 H7 processor provides the performance required for smooth EdgeTX operation, complex models, telemetry, and Lua scripts. The interface remains responsive even when several advanced functions are active at the same time.
Clear configuration and telemetry
The 800 x 480 IPS display provides generous space for widgets, telemetry data, and model settings. Touch control speeds up navigation, while automatic backlight adjustment improves visibility under changing lighting conditions.
Reliable connectivity across two bands
Two Semtech LR1121 transceivers support both 2.4 GHz and Sub-G 900 MHz operation. The Gemini system is designed to provide strong link quality, low latency, and stable control in demanding FPV and RC applications.
Precision tailored to the pilot
The V6 gimbals use Hall sensors and four bearings for smooth, repeatable stick movement. External travel, centering, and tension adjustments allow pilots to fine-tune the feel without opening the transmitter.
Stable temperatures during long sessions
Low-noise fans and an aluminum heat sink help remove heat from the transmitter. This supports stable operation during extended sessions, high RF output, and use in warm environments.
Improved battery protection
The Smart Balance Battery Circuit manages cell charging and helps prevent overcharging. It supports more efficient energy use and helps maintain battery condition during regular operation.
Space for models, scripts, and backups
Built-in flash memory stores essential operating files without depending entirely on removable storage. The microSD slot adds room for model backups, sound packs, scripts, and other user data.
Extra control through transmitter movement
The motion sensor can detect transmitter tilt and trigger assigned functions. It may be used for pan-and-tilt camera control, switch activation, or telemetry callouts while the pilot keeps both hands on the gimbals.
Strong connectivity with easier storage
The two foldable antennas support the dual-band RF system without compromising portability. They fold close to the case for safer transport and more convenient storage inside the carry case.
