The BetaFPV ELRS Nano Receiver 2.4G 46mm gives your FPV drone a fast ExpressLRS link without adding weight you would ever notice in the air. Its 100mW telemetry sends data back to your radio with more than five times the power of the Lite model, so you can fly with more confidence. Solder four wires, bind it with three power cycles and spend your time flying instead of fiddling with setup.

Strong Telemetry for Your FPV Drone with the BetaFPV ELRS Nano Receiver 2.4G 46mm

The BetaFPV ELRS Nano Receiver 2.4G 46mm is a compact ExpressLRS receiver for FPV drones. It weighs approx. 0.7g (receiver only) and measures just 12x19mm. It is built on an ESP8285 MCU and an SX1280 RF chip with a PA+LNA amplifier, and sends telemetry back at 100mW (20dBm). The included T antenna has a 46mm cable and plugs into the U.FL (IPEX MHF) connector. The receiver runs on 5V and talks to the flight controller over the CRSF protocol. It ships with ELRS 3.3.0 firmware. Remember that the receiver and your transmitter must run the same ELRS version to bind.

BetaFPV ELRS Nano Receiver 2.4G 46mm Key Features

Low Weight

The receiver alone weighs approx. 0.7g and measures just 12x19mm. It fits easily into a tight frame and adds no unnecessary weight to your drone.

Strong Telemetry

Telemetry is sent back to your radio at 100mW (20dBm). That is more than five times the power of the Lite model, so the return signal to your radio is stronger.

Signal Amplifier

An SX1280 RF chip with a PA+LNA amplifier, driven by an ESP8285 MCU. The PA boosts the outgoing signal and the LNA amplifies weak incoming signals, for a more dependable link.

Antenna Included

A T antenna on a 46mm cable that plugs into the U.FL (IPEX MHF) connector. You get everything you need to install it straight out of the box, with no separate antenna to buy.

Simple Connection

Four wires to a free UART on the flight controller and the CRSF protocol. Installation is quick and Betaflight setup comes down to a few settings.

Ready to Bind

It ships with ELRS 3.3.0 firmware, so with a transmitter on the same version you can bind it right away without flashing. Binding takes just three power cycles.

Connecting and Binding the BetaFPV ELRS Nano Receiver 2.4G 46mm

Solder the receiver to a free UART on the flight controller: RX to FC TX, TX to FC RX, 5V to 5V and GND to GND. Make sure your flight controller supports the CRSF serial protocol.

Setup in Betaflight
  • On the Ports tab, enable Serial Rx on the UART the receiver is connected to (e.g. UART3).
  • On the Configuration tab, choose Serial-based receiver and select the CRSF protocol.
  • Telemetry is optional. It uses transmit slots, so turning it on lowers the stick update rate.
Binding
  1. Power the receiver on and off three times.
  2. A quick double blink of the LED means the receiver is in binding mode.
  3. Put your transmitter or RF module into binding mode.
  4. A solid LED means the receiver is bound. It stores the binding and reconnects automatically at the next power-up.
