The T-Motor V22x7.4 Prop 2PCS are lift propellers for VTOL aircraft that cannot afford to come up short on takeoff. They give every vertical climb a solid thrust reserve, react quickly to the flight controller and slip through the air more easily once the aircraft is cruising on its wing. Matched by T-Motor to its V605 motor, they take the guesswork out of building a heavy VTOL airframe.

T-Motor V22x7.4 Prop 2PCS — More Thrust for Vertical Takeoff

The T-Motor V22x7.4 is a pair of 22-inch (558.8mm) propellers from the T-Motor V series, designed for the lift motors of VTOL aircraft. Each one is a one-piece two-blade propeller made of polymer and carbon fiber, with a 7.4-inch (188mm) pitch and a weight of 48g. T-Motor recommends running it at 3-6kg of thrust (3450-4800RPM), with a maximum of 13kg at 6950RPM, and it works in temperatures from -40 to 65°C. It mounts on a flange with a Ø6mm center hole and two Ø3mm holes on a Ø12mm circle. T-Motor recommends it for its V605 KV210 motor, with which it produced 12,761g of thrust at full throttle in the manufacturer's bench test. The set includes one CW and one CCW propeller and four M3x20 screws.

T-Motor V22x7.4 Prop 2PCS Key Features

More Thrust for VTOL

T-Motor designed the V series for VTOL aircraft, which need more thrust than comparable multirotors. Compared with multirotor propellers, maximum thrust is 10% higher.

Higher Efficiency

A larger pitch and an optimized blade shape raise overall efficiency by 2% compared with multirotor propellers. Higher efficiency means less energy for the same thrust.

Faster Response

According to T-Motor, V series propellers respond 8% faster than general propellers. Thrust builds up sooner when the flight controller asks for it.

Less Drag in Cruise

The blade shape is designed to create less air drag during cruise, when the aircraft flies on its wing.

Reinforced Blade Root

The blade root is reinforced for safe flight. That is the point where the loads from a 22-inch blade meet the hub.

Wide Temperature Range

The propellers work from -40 to 65°C, so the same set can fly in a frosty winter and in summer heat.

Larger Pitch, Optimized Blade

VTOL aircraft need more thrust than comparable multirotors, so T-Motor gave the V series a larger pitch and an optimized blade shape. In the manufacturer's comparison with multirotor propellers, overall efficiency rises by 2% and maximum thrust by 10%.

Quick Response, Strong Thrust

T-Motor's R&D team tuned the V series to the way VTOL aircraft fly. The new propellers respond 8% faster than general propellers, so the aircraft reacts sooner to commands from the flight controller.

A Blade Shaped for Cruise

In cruise, a VTOL aircraft flies on its wing. T-Motor shaped the V series blade to create less air drag in this phase than a general propeller, as the outline comparison below shows.
