Fighter 2430mm Hand Throw KIT – Long-Range Fixed-Wing Platform for Mapping and UAV Projects
Fighter 2430mm Hand Throw KIT combines a 2430mm wingspan with a large payload bay, tool-less field assembly and a hand-launch configuration that avoids the additional motors, ESCs and lift hardware required by a VTOL system. The result is a flexible airframe for building a long-endurance fixed-wing UAV around your own propulsion, autopilot, communication system and payload. Makeflyeasy specifies up to 1.5kg payload and publishes a 250km flight-distance test for the hand-throw version.

Fighter 2430mm Hand Throw KIT What You Need to Complete the KIT Version
The KIT contains the airframe and assembly hardware. To build a complete aircraft you still need two cruise motors, two ESCs, suitable counter-rotating propellers, servos, an autopilot, GNSS, power management, RC/control link, telemetry, airspeed sensing and a flight battery. A parachute and its deployment hardware must also be added if parachute recovery is planned.
Makeflyeasy’s documented hand-throw propulsion configuration uses two 3520 500KV motors, two 6S 100A ESCs, a pair of 15-inch counter-rotating propellers and five MFE3054 servos. The current KIT V5.0 manual also recommends the MFE3054 or another servo of the same physical size for the aileron and tail installation.
The following products are BZB UAS recommendations and provide a practical starting point. They are not the only possible solutions — other compatible components can be used when correctly selected for the complete configuration.
2x Brushless UAV motor 3520-500KV
This is the same motor type used in Makeflyeasy’s documented twin-motor Hand Throw configuration. The current BZB UAS listing specifies 4–6S operation, up to 70A for 30 seconds and a recommended 60–80A ESC range.
The Cube Orange+ Standard Set (ADS-B Carrier Board)
A practical autopilot base for an ArduPilot fixed-wing configuration. Makeflyeasy currently provides Fighter-specific ArduPlane parameter files.
A multiband DroneCAN GNSS receiver with RTK support when the completed platform requires precise navigation or positioning.
Digital AirSpeed sensor ASPD-DLVR
A CAN/I2C airspeed sensor intended for fixed-wing and ArduPilot applications. Airspeed measurement is especially useful when configuring stall margins, automatic flight and changing wind conditions.
Provides multiple regulated outputs for onboard electronics and accepts 9–55V input. The final current measurement and power-distribution architecture still needs to be designed around the completed aircraft.
A dedicated bidirectional telemetry system for communication between the aircraft autopilot and ground station in an EU-compliant radio configuration.
Herelink 1.1 – HD Video Transmission System
An alternative system architecture combining RC control, ground station functions, telemetry and HD video. It does not have to be installed together with a separate RFD telemetry system.
The motor, ESC, propeller and battery must be selected as one propulsion system. Makeflyeasy’s current 250km test uses a 6S 44,000mAh LiPo pack, but battery capacity alone does not establish compatibility. Discharge capability, mass, dimensions, connectors, centre of gravity and the current demand of both motors must be checked before choosing a flight battery.

The finished aircraft still needs to be checked and tuned before flight rather than flying directly on unverified parameter settings.
Fighter 2430mm Hand Throw KIT has a manufacturer-specified maximum payload of 1.5kg and a payload compartment measuring 280mm x 160mm x 110mm. This gives room for mapping cameras and other UAV sensors that fit within the available size, mass and centre-of-gravity limits.
No runway is required for takeoff because Fighter 2430mm Hand Throw KIT is designed for hand launch. Makeflyeasy lists slide landing or parachute landing as the recovery methods for this version. A complete parachute system is not included with the KIT and must be added separately if that recovery method is planned.
